I lived in the woods for just a few months. My time there was a strange and wonderful series of events. My hair was stringy and greasy, my baths were in a creek down a ways from camp. My days were spend kayaking, skinning critters, building shelters. I road my bike the 30 miles into town for class twice a week and I did this happily. Actually, everything else I do with less purpose and gusto.
